centuries. The Venetian plaster of Italy is probably the most well known today.

recipes for fine plasters, typically relying on the raw materials that were
abundant in their part of the world. Different techniques of application were
employed due to architecture, building requirements, climate, and the tools that
were available at the time. These techniques and recipes were handed down
through families, generation by generation, and many were kept secret. Because
of their beauty and longevity, many of these original plaster finishes are still
in use today but modern materials have replaced many others. It has been through
years of research that Coppola Brothers Company has been able to recapture many
of these spectacular plasters and techniques, and adapt them to today’s
architecture and building methods.
Venetian plaster is actually a name that has been given to a family of Italian
lime plasters and finishing techniques. Coppola Brothers has at its disposal the
