Fresco Painting - Mother of all Arts
In concert with iLia Anossov, the renowned fresco artist from Moscow, Fresco School and ILAdesigns, Coppola Bros. Company has recently become involved in a major renovation at the St John’s Cathedral in Baltimore, Maryland. When completed, in an estimated five-year process, it will stand as the largest contemporary fresco to have been done in the United States in the past 75 years.
Grand Fresco Project
Coppola Brothers Company will work along with ILAdesigns and the east coast director of the Fresco Painting School, R. J. Wolf, in the preparation of the 7000 square foot buon fresco that will be painted in the St. Johns Cathedral by iLia Anossov, K. J. Wolf and their students. Coppola Bros. will also act as the chief importer and supplier of the raw materials from Italy that will be needed to complete this commission.
Fresco Shop
Since the inception of this project, Coppola Bros. Company has opened a fresco art supply shop for the students of Mr. Anossov, and the art community at large, to purchase fresco materials and supplies. Of all the applied arts, fresco materials are by far the hardest-to-find instruments in the world. Coppola Brothers has now created an easily accessible supply to anyone who wants to create true fresco.
